Facebook through its official blog announced some new special effects and filters to use with camera roll in running conversations for its FB Messenger app. With the implementation of these new filters, Facebook aims to reduce the use of the keyboard inside the Facebook Messenger chat room, favoring a faster, easy and fun kind of conversation with sending photos and edited short video.
According to Facebook, new update will roll out globally over the coming days. Inside the Messenger chat room, users will find a new camera shutter button which is present front and center lets users take photos or record a new video with a long press and enhance them with text, stickers, animated effects, illustrated frames and doodles.
Besides this, Facebook has also introduced a number of special effects and filters to easily apply to your pictures or videos, and transforming them into a true art work which spread cheer. There are also 3D masks, special effects and artistic filters, it will be possible to turn into a reindeer, play in the snow, apply thousands of stickers, frames, masks and effects, and more.
Finally, the team of Mark Zuckerberg has also created a place where users can send even more funny text messages by pressing the shutter where you can add art and stickers to your text. It must be noted that Messenger photos will not disappear after they are sent. All of the features that you know and love in Facebook Messenger are just the same.
Facebook says, We’re making it super easy to add more delight to the conversations you’re having about what you’re doing, how you’re feeling and the plans you are making. More than 2.5 billion emojis, photos, stickers, and videos are sent every day on Messenger, and the company wants to enhance the experience for its next billion users. The new features will arrive in the coming days on both Android and iOS Messenger app.
