Asus has launched the powerful ExpertBook CX54 Chromebook Plus, now available at a discount on Amazon. It features Meteor Lake CPUs, meets MIL-STD 810H standards, and supports up to three 4K displays.
The Chromebook AI model comes with modern features, including Intel Core Ultra processors from the brand-new Meteor Lake generation and, according to the manufacturer, is the first Chromebook Plus in the Asus Expert series for ambitious companies, offering “outstanding performance, first-class productivity, and security.”
The new Asus ExpertBook CX54 Chromebook Plus is available with various Meteor Lake processors from the Intel Core Ultra 5 125U to the Intel Core Ultra 7 165U, each with 12 cores, 14 threads 12 MB cache, and a top clock speed of between 4.3 and 4.9 GHz. The manufacturer also combines up to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM with 6,400 MHz and storage space on a PCIe 4.0 SSD of up to 512 GB. The Intel Iris Xe integrated GPU manages the graphics output.
The ExpertBook CX54 Chromebook Plus from Asus features a 14-inch LCD display with a WQXGA resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio. It covers 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color space, is up to 500 nits bright, and is optionally available as a touchscreen with stylus support.
On both the left and right sides, you’ll find various ports, including two Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports and an HDMI 2.1 port, allowing for the connection of up to three 4K displays. The Asus ExpertBook CX54 Chromebook Plus comes with Chrome OS by default but is also available with Chrome Enterprise Upgrade or Chrome Education Upgrade.
