Philips launched the Evnia 27M2C5200W back in July this year, and it is now available at a discounted price on Amazon. It is apparently a successor to the Philips Evnia 27M1C5200W.
The new 27-inch gaming monitor has a curved Fast VA panel with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and achieves a maximum refresh rate of 280 Hz. In addition to a 4000:1 contrast ratio, 10-bit color depth (probably 8-bit + FRC), 121% sRGB, 1 ms response time (gray to gray), 300 cd/m² brightness, and a Delta-E value of less than 2 are advertised.
Support for Adaptive Sync and HDR10 is included, as is a Smart MBR mode, i.e. an anti-blur tool. There is also a dynamic crosshair overlay that can change color depending on the game background.
In terms of interfaces, you have to make do with two HDMI 2.0 inputs (Full HD at a maximum of 180 Hz), a DisplayPort 1.4 (Full HD at a maximum of 280 Hz), and a headphone output. If you value 10 bits, 120 Hz for HDMI and 240 Hz for DisplayPort are the maximum.
In terms of ergonomic features, the monitor offers tilt, rotation, height adjustment, a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount, blue light filtering, and flicker-free backlighting.

The Philips Evnia 27M2C5200W is mercury-free, has a typical power consumption of 22.4 watts, and weighs 3.97 kg without the stand. The Amazon UK online store has listed the device for £179.97, offering a 5% discount off the original launch price of £189.97.
