EVGA Corporation, today officially announced its first gaming laptop – EVGA SC17 gaming laptop pricing starting from $2,700 for the standard configuration. The EVGA SC17 laptop made its debut as a prototype at CES 2016 with the object-oriented design for hardcore gamers. So, SC17 is equipped with the most advanced technology currently available in the market such as 4K screen, Intel Core i7 K-series CPU, high-end Nvidia GeForce GTX graphics cards and high-speed hard drive. 
EVGA SC17 has designed and developed entirely by EVGA’s engineers to deliver a high performance and functionality, differences will be seen when compared to other high-end laptops.
EVGA Corp. is a popular North American manufacturer of computer hardware and also authorized partners with NVIDIA, although their products mainly known for graphics cards and motherboards, but it is worth noting that EVGA has hired new engineers team from Epox – a leading manufacturer of motherboards and graphics cards, was established in 1995 and Andrew Han – co-founder of EVGA is also co-founder of Epox. Therefore, EVGA SC 17 made by the Epox’s experts in the field of hardware and design. 
The result is SC17 integrated UEFI BIOS with full GUI support allowing users to control many aspects of system performance including CPU voltage, memory latency etc. In fact, the GPU can also be overclocked from the BIOS and this is a feature not commonly found on other high-end laptops. This Laptop also allows us to control overlocking speed by using up/down arrow keys allowing you to enable Superclocked performance, or downclock mode to improve battery life. For users who want to fine-tune for maximum performance, EVGA SC17 supports EOC technology allows overclocking the system to optimize performance or reduce the impulse to save battery system with only 2 buttons.
EVGA’s engineers also equip special cooling system with two heatsink fan slot to ensure cooling efficiency for the CPU and GPU in case of overclocking.
Besides powerful specification, this EVGA Gaming Laptop features a 17.3-inch IPS display with a 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels). Besides the screen, stereo system with integrated subwoofer. With this configuration, EVGA SC17 can give comparable performance with an Intel Core i7 6820HK CPU and Nvidia GeForce GTX 980M GPU. It’s not only meet the needs of TV gaming, but also supports VR game.
For pricing, it’s not an affordable gaming laptops, the EVGA SC17 gaming laptop is quite expensive, priced at $2,700, but features aluminum unibody design, only 26.9 mm thickness and weighs around 3.94 kg. EVGA is likely to start selling within weeks.
