Acer introduced new Environmentally Friendly products in their Vero series, which includes desktop and laptop PCs, monitors, accessories, and more. Acer Vero BR247Y and Vero BR277 monitors are now available for consumers.
Acer’s new environmentally friendly products are made with PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) material. PCR is made with recycled plastic from waste material from domestic, commercial, industrial, and public facilities. However, sustainability is not limited only to this aspect, but also to how these products will be used and disposed of: Acer Vero monitors are designed to be easy to disassemble, thus simplifying the repair and update processes as well as increasing the duration of their life cycle.
Acer is expanding its environmentally friendly products line with two new VERO monitors. The Acer Vero BR277 monitor has a 27-inch Full HD display that is ENERGY STAR, TCO and EPEAT certified; ergonomics are also taken care of with the Acer Ergostand that allows rotation on the three axes as well as height adjustment. The monitor also supports Acer VisionCare technology – which helps reduce eye strain – paired with Acer BlueLightShield to reduce blue light exposure.

The new Acer Vero BR247Y also comes with 65 percent PCR plastic and Full HD resolution but has a 23.8-inch IPS panel. The Acer monitor allows users to tilt, swivel, height adjust, and pivot with the flexibility to meet every using environment, finding the best viewing angle.
