Eizo has introduced an exciting new FlexScan EV3895 curved 4k monitor which, with its enormous screen diagonal of 38 inches and the ultra-wide 24:10 aspect ratio, should set new standards in terms of productivity – Eizo is breaking new ground, unfortunately, the 4K computer monitor is hardly suitable for gamers.
Eizo is best known for its extremely true-to-color monitors for professionals in the creative industry, but the company is breaking new ground with the FlexScan EV3895. Because this is not only the company’s first 38-inch device but also the first curved display.
The 38-inch IPS panel in 24:10 format offers a resolution of 3,840 × 1,600 pixels with a pixel density of 111 PPI, the maximum contrast ratio is specified as 1,000: 1, the manufacturer specifies the brightness with 300 nits. The 4K screen can still display 94 percent of the DCI-P3 color space, the sRGB color space is displayed in full.
With a frame rate of 60 Hz and a response time of 5 milliseconds, the FlexScan is not suitable for gamers, but the USB-C connector should be much more interesting for the target group. A notebook can be connected to the display and the integrated USB 3.1 hub with four ports as well as to the Ethernet connection via just one cable, but can also be charged with a maximum of 85 watts at the same time.
Alternatively, PC can also be connected via DisplayPort or one of two HDMI connections. The FlexScan stereo loudspeaker (2 x 1 watt), a headphone connection, and a height-adjustable and tiltable stand are small extras. Eizo offers a five-year guarantee and a six-month guarantee against pixel errors.

Alongside this curved 4K monitor, EIZO has also introduced two new office monitors including the FlexScan EV2795 27-inch IPS panel with a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution, and the FlexScan EV2495 24.1-inch IPS panel with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution.
