Edge 60 Fusion from Motorola with 4,500 nits pOLED Now in UK

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is here and is now available in the UK at a lower price than expected. The device offers an attractive price-performance ratio with a 120 Hz, 4,500 nits bright pOLED display, a high-quality 50 MP primary camera, and a 5,200 mAh battery.

Compared to the Edge 50 Fusion (approx. £251 on Amazon), the brand-new Motorola Edge 60 Fusion features a significantly modernized design. Depending on the color, it has a larger camera module and a back with either a fabric or leather texture. The display is rounded dramatically on the left and right sides.

The 6.67-inch pOLED display receives two upgrades – the resolution increases to 2,712 x 1,220 pixels. The HDR peak brightness of 4,500 nits is considerably higher, but the frame rate drops slightly to 120 Hz. The display invisibly integrates the fingerprint sensor, while a punch-hole houses the 32 MP selfie camera, which can record 4K videos. The camera module on the back houses the 50 MP f/1.88 primary camera with OIS. It is based on the modern Sony LYT-700C in a 1/1.56-inch format. There’s also a 13 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera with macro mode.

Motorola touts various AI camera features, including Portrait Mode, which can simulate a 35 mm and a 50 mm lens. The 7.95 mm thin, 178-gram smartphone is IP69 certified, making it water-resistant. The battery is relatively large at 5,200 mAh and charges via USB-C with up to 68 watts; wireless charging is not supported.

The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 has four ARM Cortex-A78 performance cores that reach boost clock speeds of up to 2.5 GHz. It also includes four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores, reportedly delivering the necessary performance.
