Chinese lens manufacturer Jakumei Optics has recently announced a new Dulens APO 85mm F2 lens for Canon EF and Nikon F-mount camera systems, which is now available to buy on Amazon.
According to the manufacturer, the lens’ apochromatic (APO) design is inspired by ‘Sonnar-style’ lenses, the first of which was created by Dr. Ludwig Bertele in 1929. New Canon ef lenses consist of seven elements arranged in six groups. In this case, the optical scheme of the lens contains two abnormally dispersed glasses, three 3 lanthanide glasses, and one lens with a high refractive index glass.
Other characteristics of the Dulens APO 85mm F2 include an aperture range of F/2-F/16, a nine-blade aperture, a minimum focusing distance of 90 cm, a lens that has a low level of distortion, about 0.3%, and a front filter diameter is 55 mm. The lens has a low-contrast multi-layer coating design, which has excellent high light control ability and can make the overall color true and natural.
