Double screen laptop Lenovo ThinkBook Plus G3

The Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 was first announced at CES 2022 in January, but Lenovo recently confirmed that the exciting double screen laptop is now available in the USA. Official Lenovo store already listed the device with the base model being equipped with Core i5-12500H, 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and a 512 GB SSD.

The high-end model with Intel Core i7-12700H promises first-class performance thanks to the combination of six performance and eight efficiency cores; the device lacks a dedicated GPU. The highlight of the double screen laptop, however, is the 17.3-inch display, because this is in the ultra-wide 21:10 format, the resolution is 3,072 x 1,440 pixels, and the maximum brightness is 400 nits. The ultra-wide format not only creates more space for windows arranged side by side, but it is also possible to install a second display with a diagonal of 8 inches in addition to the normal-sized keyboard.

This touchscreen can be used with a stylus, for example, to select text or to use Photoshop brushes. According to Lenovo, the secondary display is also perfect for taking notes during a video chat, and an app launcher and calculator can also be displayed. The disadvantage of this design is the immense width of the notebook: With dimensions of 41 x 22.8 centimeters, the device only fits in large backpacks, and it weighs 2 kilograms.
