Dell has introduced a new UltraSharp U2421HE 24-inch USB C Monitor for office work. New Dell display has an IPS panel, USB Type-C port, DP output, height-adjustable stand, and pivot. The Dell screens are calibrated for a color difference of Delta E <2, it has a Full HD (1920×1080) resolution, 99% sRGB coverage, and 85% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space.
Dell delivers upscale office equipment that includes a DisplayPort output for multi-monitor setup with Dell Express Daisy Chaining. The single USB-C port not only serves as an additional video input but also for data transmission and power supply with up to 65 watts.
Thanks to Ethernet via the RJ-45 connection, a device connected via USB-C can access a network. The Dell computer monitors function as a docking station for notebooks. So you can manage your monitor with MAC Address pass-through, PXE Boot, and Wake-on-LAN conveniently built-in.
The Dell display is not designed for graphics professionals, but with calibration for Delta E <2 (99% sRGB) he meets at least certain demands on color fidelity. At 60 Hz, the refresh rate is only at the standard level. In addition to the connections mentioned, there are DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 1.4, audio output, and a quad USB hub (type A). The versatile options for aligning the screen, which also includes pivot mode, are almost a matter of course for a high-end office monitor.
