Dell U3421WE computer monitor is now available with a massive discount of $80 on the Amazon.com website.

Original story:

With the Ultrasharp U3421WE, Dell is bringing a new 60Hz monitor onto the market, especially for the production segment. Two PCs can be connected to the Dell computer monitors at the same time and has a high resolution.

With a screen diagonal of 34.14 inches, the Dell U3421WE is probably one of the largest monitors for the desktop. The IPS panel is curved – that makes it a lot more comfortable to use, as the distance between the eyes and the display changes less across the various areas of the screen. The radius of curvature is 1.9 meters.

The Dell display has a resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 pixels, so the aspect ratio is 21:9. Dell specifies the brightness at 300 cd/m² and the contrast ratio at the typical IPS 1,000: 1. The sRGB color space should be covered to 99 percent and the DCI-P3 space to 95 percent. The color accuracy concerning the DCI-P3 color space is under three at Delta-E, which means that the panel – with possibly minor restrictions – should also be suitable for professional processing of image content.

Dell puts the response time at five milliseconds in a special mode; in normal operation, this should be eight milliseconds. The display is equipped with an anti-reflective coating and can be tilted, rotated, and adjusted in height. The 60Hz monitor records image signals via DisplayPort, HDMI, and USB Type C, with a KVM switch installed.

The KVM switch also supports picture-in-picture playback and can be connected to a notebook with just a USB type C cable if it supports DisplayPort 1.4 in alternate mode. It can receive up to 90 watts via power delivery and can also use the built-in Ethernet port. There are also three USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports for connecting peripheral devices.

Dell UltraSharp U3421WE price and availability

The Dell UltraSharp U3421WE will go on sale this month in December for $959.59, which has already listed on the Bestbuy.com and Bhphotovideo.com websites.

Recently, Dell has also introduced a UP3221Q Ultra HD 4K monitor for professional users with a particularly high contrast ratio, color coverage, built-in colorimeter, and priced at $3,977.77.

  1. how does the autokvm feature work on this model? I’m having trouble finding any documentation or youtube videos to share how it exactly works.

    • A built-in KVM (keyboard, video, and mouse) switch, allowing the screen to be shared between two computers.

You have to press the KVM switch to toggle between the keyboard and mouse as well as also needed to press the HDMI switch to toggle between the monitors.

For accurate information, you should check the official manual provided with the monitor, and you will found all your answers.
