Dell Precision 5560 and 5760 Professional Laptops packs a lot of performance into the slim case

With the Dell Precision 5560 and 5760, Dell has officially presented the professional version of the new XPS 15 and XPS 17. With Intel Tiger Lake-H, optional 4K displays in 16:10 format, a particularly thin housing, and PCIe 4.0 SSDs, the two Dell Precision laptop notebooks have a lot to offer.

Dell Precision 5560 and Precision 5760

After Dell officially presented the new XPS 15 and XPS 17, the company presented the versions for professional users with the Precision 5560 and 5760, respectively. Since the devices are largely identical and the case practically corresponds to that of the previous model, this article only focuses on the differences to the XPS and the highlights of the equipment.

Probably the biggest difference is the processor: Just like the new Dell XPS, the Dell Precision laptop notebooks rely on Intel Tiger Lake-H, but chips with support for vPro are used, from the Core i5-11500H with six cores and clock frequencies of up to 4, 6 GHz up to the Intel Xeon W11955M with eight cores at up to 5.0 GHz. There is also a maximum of one Nvidia RTX A3000 graphics chip with 6 GB GDDR6 graphics memory, up to 64 GB DDR4-3,200 ECC memory, and up to two PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSDs that can be operated as RAID.

The Dell Precision 5560 uses a 15-inch 16:10 display, while the Dell Precision 5760 uses a 17-inch screen with the same aspect ratio. Both notebooks are equipped as standard with a 60 Hz fast panel with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels and a brightness of 500 nits, for a surcharge there is also a 500 nits bright 4K display with Gorilla Glass cover and practically full display of the Adobe RGB- and DCI-P3 color spaces to choose from.

Along with this Dell Precision laptop, the B&H store has also listed the Dell Precision 3561 with the more powerful Tiger Lake-H chips, Nvidia T600 / T1200, a variety of connections, and pricing start from $1,636.91.
