Dell has launched a new business monitor, 4K USB Type-C, in the UK. The Dell P3225QE (31.5 inches) features an IPS panel with 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) and a maximum refresh rate of 100 Hz. sRGB coverage is 99 percent, color depth is 10 bits, the contrast ratio is 1500:1, and the brightness is 350 cd/m².
The new 32-inch 4K monitor, certified according to TCO Generation 10, has docking station functionality. The interfaces include HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, RJ-45 (1 Gbit/s), a USB 3.0 hub, and two USB-C ports—one of which supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode and delivers 90 watts of power delivery. Additionally, a special feature is a pull-out front panel embedded at the bottom of the screen, which provides one USB-A and one USB-C port. However, this 4K USB Type-C business monitor does not offer HDR support or anti-tearing sync technology. A KVM switch is also missing.
In return, the Dell 4K USB Type-C monitor scores highly in terms of ergonomics. Specifically, it offers features such as tilt, rotation, height adjustment (150 mm), and pivot. Additionally, it supports VESA mounting (100 x 100 mm) and includes eye-friendly technologies like blue light filtering and flicker-free backlighting.

Currently priced at £585.24 on Amazon.co.uk, the Dell P3225QE draws 27.8 watts from the outlet. As a result, it earns an EU energy efficiency rating of class F (on a scale from A to G).
Dell also introduced the S3225QS 32 Plus 4K Monitor, which has a VA panel, is 4-star certified for eye comfort, supports AMD FreeSync Premium, and is priced at $347.99 or £369.99.
