Dell S2422HZ Video Conferencing Monitor with AMD FreeSync

Dell has announced a new monitor for video conferences. The Dell computer monitor S2422HZ has two integrated microphones with noise suppression, a 5 MP pop-up webcam, and two internal 5-watt speakers.

The Dell S2422HZ has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) and achieves 250 cd/m² brightness. It has an 8-bit color depth, a 1000: 1 contrast, 4 ms response time (gray to gray), 99 percent sRGB, and a maximum refresh rate of 75 Hz.

FreeSync eliminates tearing in games and probably has to do without LFC (“Low Framerate Compensation”). On the connection side, DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4, USB 3.2, a headphone output, and USB-C with DisplayPort alternate mode and 65-watt power delivery can be used.

The Dell computer monitor screen can be tilted, turn, adjusted in height, in pivot move, and by VESA mount uptake (100 x 100 mm) on a wall or an arm stand. Thanks to blue light filtering and flicker-free background lighting, eye-friendly use should be guaranteed. The power consumption of 12.62 watts and weighs 3.88 kg.
