We all know that most owners of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are looking forward to the arrival of an Android Oreo update to their handsets. We recently published that the new update went through WiFi certification website in the USA.
Now, according to information released in the international media this weekend, Samsung has decided to delay the Android Oreo update for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Previously, we had that Android Oreo would be released this month, but Samsung failed to follow the schedule.
So, now we hope that Android Oreo is released for the handsets in mid-May. The South Korean manufacturer’s Turkish website has revealed that both the devices will receive the new version of the software update on next May 18, 2018.
According to this new information, other devices that also have to wait a little longer to receive the Android Oreo are the Galaxy A7, A5, and A3 2017 series. According to the Turkish website, members of the Galaxy A family will receive the Android Oreo update from 1st June this year.
