Deity microphones has announced the V-Link 3.5mm Microphone Adapter audio cable. It is used as a 48V XLR phantom power adapter to a conventional TRS 3V 3.5 mm jack.
The new Deity V-Link cable is now 40 cm long. It allows you to connect a microphone to an audio recorder or camera with an XLR port. On one side of the cable, there is an XLR connector on one side and 3.5 mm on the other.
This microphone adapter adapts 48V phantom power to the XLR input, then converts the signal to Plug-In Power 3V. The manufacturer claims that this signal conversion system does not introduce additional noise into the final audio signal.
Features:
- 3.5mm TRS male to XLR 3-pin male adapter cable for connecting an external 3.5mm mic to an XLR camera input
- Low-profile, right-angled connectors avoid bulky installations
- Converts 24 or 48 VDC phantom power to plug-in power (3 to 5 VDC) without inducing noise
- Durable CNC-machined aluminum alloy construction
Deity V-Link costs $34 only and it can be pre-ordered through the Bhphotovideo.com website.
