The Deebot X8 Pro Omni is a new and powerful vacuum and mop robot with extensive features. It does not rely on the typical system with two rotating mops for wet cleaning.

Ecovacs announced the X8 Pro Omni at CES 2025 and has also put the product page online, revealing all the relevant parameters. One thing is clear: the new Ecovacs Deebot vacuuming and mopping robot is a high-end cleaning robot with many functions. The manufacturer does not integrate rotating mops for wet cleaning; instead, it uses a mop roller. Sixteen freshwater nozzles moisten these, while the system wipes off the dirty water. This effectively prevents dirt from spreading.
Users of the Deebot X8 Pro Omni should not have to make any compromises regarding dry cleaning either: it offers a suction power of 18,000 Pa and has a specially designed brush that removes hair. First, a special function cleans the carpets in your home—then the mop remains dry. The base station offers various functions; for example, it can refill fresh water, clean the mop itself, and then dry it with 63 °C warm air – this should prevent unpleasant odors. According to the manufacturer, the tub for washing the mop only needs to be dismantled once or twice a year for cleaning.
Intelligent route planning is designed to result in efficient cleaning. According to the manufacturer, the Deebot X8 Pro Omni can even identify areas that require more thorough cleaning and then wipe them down immediately. With the help of an LLM model, the vacuum and mop robot can also be given more complex commands.
