Fans of the GameCube may have flashbacks to the ASCII Keyboard Controller that was designed to work with Sega’s cult classic Online RPG from 2000: Phantasy Star Online. Hardcore Gamers and fans of the GameCube will definitely notice the great resemblance to the old ASCII Keyboard that was created for 2000: Phantasy Star Online.
Obviously, Nintendo Switch allows the user to take advantage of the touchscreen as a virtual keyboard, according to the Cyber Gadget, this new keyboard has been designed to attach to the Joy-Cons in the same way as they do to the console. This simple design allows players to quickly switch between controlling the game and inputting text rather than having to put down the controllers altogether.
The Cyber Gadget keyboard will be available on September 30, 2017, in Japan at 3758 yen – approximately $30. Unfortunately, there is no information on the release in USA.
