Corsair launches its first Thunderbolt 3 Dock Station

Corsair has announced the release of its first Thunderbolt 3 Dock station. New to add multiple ports to a system with just one cable, it is called the Corsair TBT100.

According to the manufacturer, the Thunderbolt docking station in an aluminum casing looks good in any work environment. Its dimensions are 228 x 83 x 25 mm. The dock is configured with one 40 Gbps Thunderbolt 3 port for connection to a desktop or mobile PC. The notebook can be powered from the dock (up to 85W). 

Two USB ports with a bandwidth of 5gbps, routed to the USB-A connectors, are capable of providing a load of up to 7.5 W each, and two USB ports with a bandwidth of 10gbps routed to the USB-C connectors, are designed for 15 watts each. 

Additionally, there are two HDMI 2.0 outputs with support for 4K resolution, 60 Hz and HDR, a Gigabit Ethernet port, a combo 3.5 mm universal audio jack, and an SD card reader with UHS-II support. The Kensington lock completes the picture. It is compatible with both Mac and Windows operating systems, with an easy plug-and-play setup to get connected quickly.

Corsair TBT100 feature Smart Charging technology, means delivers power more efficiently by distributing power only where it’s needed, without you having to lift a finger. Able to deliver a maximum of 85W, the TBT100 can provide up to 30W of power to the four USB ports, with the remaining power available to the computer for charging.

Corsair TBT100 Thunderbolt 3 Dock is now available to buy on the Amazon.com for $259.99. 

Apart from this, Corsair has also announced three liquid CPU coolers in the iCUE Elite Capellix series. They are characterized by high efficiency and RGB backlighting. The Corsair CPU Cooler Elite Capellix series includes three H100i, H115i, and H150i models.
