Corsair K55 RGB Pro and K55 RGB Pro XT Keyboards Introduced

Corsair today announced the K55 RGB Pro and K55 RGB Pro XT membrane gaming keyboards. Each Corsair K55 RGB keyboard has a familiar layout plus six dedicated macro keys. New RGB gaming keyboard models can be used to activate customizable functions, keyboard shortcuts, or actions with one click.

Macro keys can also be integrated with the Elgato Stream deck app to control streaming. Apart from this, there are seven dedicated keys for playback and volume control.

The Corsair K55 RGB Pro has five lighting zones and six preset lighting effects, while the K55 RGB Pro XT features per-key lighting, ten built-in lighting effects, and customization via Corsair iCUE software offers dynamic RGB lighting control, sophisticated macro programming, system-wide lighting synchronization, and much more.

The degree of protection of the new keyboard RGB is IP42. The RGB gaming keyboard models are equipped with a removable soft textured palm rest. A USB interface is used to connect to a computer. The polling rate is 1000 Hz.

Both RGB gaming keyboard models have a soft rubber detachable palm rest that reduces stress on your hands so you can play longer in comfort, with a textured surface to keep your hands from slipping. Both have dedicated volume and media keys that let you control media playback and fine-tune volume on-the-fly without having to interrupt your gaming experience.

Price and availability

The Corsair K55 RGB Pro costs $49.99, and the K55 RGB Pro XT costs $69.99. The sales have already started on the Amazon.com website.

They are characterized by a smooth linear motion and a quick return to the starting position. The new Corsair RGB mechanical keyboard is called the Corsair K60 RGB Pro and is priced at $99.99.
