Corsair has introduced a range of wireless gaming accessories at CES 2018 with the theme “Unplug and Play” – Corsair K63 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard, K63 Wireless Gaming Lapboard, Dark Core RGB Wireless Mouse, and MM1000 Qi Wireless charging Mousepad. These are promising products that will rid of messy cables.
Typically, the wireless mouse and keyboard have a certain latency, so they often do not appeal to hardcore gamers. Corsair, however, promises to break this concept by introducing its new wireless gaming accessories, with feedback as good as traditional mice and keyboards.
A most prominent product is the Corsair’s new K63 Wireless Keyboard, also got the CES 2018’s innovative award. With a 1ms response time via the 2.4GHz Bluetooth connectivity, gamers can experience the feel of a mechanical keyboard is like using a traditional USB cable. Despite the use of green LEDs, the Corsair K63 Wireless still uses the Cherry MX Red switches as a regular version. Built-in rechargeable battery with up to 75 hours of continuous usage time and 128-bit AES encryption for keyloggers.
Corsair also introduced the K63 wireless gaming lapboard that allows you to place the mouse and keyboard on your lap when sitting on the couch. The K63 wireless mechanical keyboard price is $109.99 while the wireless lapboard is $59.99. You can also buy the combo for $159.99.
With the keyboard, of course, the Corsair Dark Core RGB mouse is a perfect companion to the K63 Wireless system. This gaming mouse uses a 16,000 DPI optical sensor with 4 zone RGB backlighting and 9 buttons. Basically, this can be seen as a more “advanced” wireless version of Corsair Glaive was launched last year. Corsair says the mouse battery can be used for 24 hours when connected wirelessly via Bluetooth 2.4 GHz.
Aside from the regular version, the Corsair Dark Core RGB mouse is also available with the Qi Wireless Charging Standard. When combined with the MM1000 Qi mouse pad, you’ll be happy to use the mouse without worrying about running out of battery. MM1000 Qi also supports wireless charging for Galaxy Note 8, iPhone 8/8 Plus and iPhone X. In case your phone does not support Qi, Corsair also has a built-in Qi to micro USB adapter, USB- C and Lightning. The size of the mouse pad is 10.2 x 13.8 inches, quite large so you should also note the space where your PC is located.
Corsair Dark Core RGB will cost $79.99 for the regular version and $89.99 for the Qi wireless. Corsair MM1000 Qi charging pad will cost $79.99.
