Corsair Xeneon Flex 45WQHD240 OLED Gaming Monitor now available on Amazon

In August 2022, Corsair unveiled the first bendable OLED display Xeneon Flex 45WQHD240 gaming monitor at Gamescom. At the time of its unveiling, there was no information provided about its price or the specific date of its release. However, the new Corsair bendable display is now available for purchase on Amazon.

Corsair bendable display Xeneon Flex 45WQHD240 OLED

This new Corsair bendable display is the world’s first gaming monitor with an OLED display that can be bent, allowing the large 45-inch monitor to be positioned either flat or curved.

The Corsair Xeneon Flex 45WQHD240 is a novel addition to the gaming monitor market. There has never been a gaming monitor with a flexible, variable bendable W-OLED display and these performance specifications. Currently, available gaming monitors have rigid, non-flexible curved panels. Corsair surprisingly presented this world first at Gamescom 2022, in collaboration with LG Display, who developed the bendable W-OLED technology.

The 45-inch W-OLED panel from LG Display has an aspect ratio of 21:9 in the revolutionary Corsair Xeneon Flex 45WQHD240 OLED gaming monitor and can be flexibly bent to a curvature value of just 800R (0.8m). This allows gamers to set the Xeneon Flex 45WQHD240 completely flat for strategy games or everyday applications, or adjust it to an extreme 800R curvature for simulations and shooters. This is a true innovation in gaming displays.

The technical specifications of the world’s first gaming monitor with a bendable OLED display are impressive. The Corsair Xeneon Flex 45WQHD240 ultra wide OLED panel boasts a native resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 pixels on a 45-inch display. LG Display supplied the W-OLED with a special, anti-glare coating that is said to be particularly effective in reducing glare and reflections.

The LG W-OLED display in the Corsair Xeneon Flex 45WQHD240 delivers a peak brightness of up to 1000 cd/m² with a contrast ratio of 1,350,000:1. The GtG (gray-to-gray) response time is a record-breaking 0.03 ms, with a pixel on-off time of 0.01 ms, and a refresh rate of up to 240 Hz. Additionally, the Corsair bendable display is equipped with compatibility with both Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium technologies.

To protect the OLED, the Xeneon Flex also has advanced burn-in protection that works both when the device is on and off, ensuring a pristine image even after intensive use of the user interface or operating system. Corsair provides a three-year zero burn-in, zero dead pixel warranty for the Xeneon Flex 45WQHD240, so customers do not have to worry about burn-in or dead pixels.
