The CMF Phone 2 Pro, one of the best AMOLED Android phones in its class, is now available for pre-order on Amazon.co.uk at £219 for the 128GB model. Its official release date is set for May 12, 2025.

CMF by Nothing has introduced a new smartphone to its lineup. Notably, the Phone 2 Pro boasts a truly remarkable design. In particular, visible screws on the back make the 7.8-millimeter-thick smartphone stand out visually from almost all competitors. As expected, for a budget phone equipped with an ultra-wide camera, it features multiple lenses. Specifically, it includes a primary camera with a 1/1.57-inch sensor, a 50MP telescopic camera offering 2x optical zoom (and up to 2x digital zoom), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 119.5° field of view, and a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies.
While the Phone 2 Pro isn’t a rugged smartphone, it still offers a certain level of protection, complying with IP54 standards. It also reportedly passed 20 drop tests from a height of 1.5 meters and at 10 different angles without (major) damage. The 6.67-inch AMOLED display, protected by Panda Glass, has a resolution of 1,080 x 2,392 pixels and offers an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The manufacturer rates the peak brightness at 3,000 cd/m². The package includes a protective film and a case. The fingerprint sensor is located beneath the display.

The smartphone uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro SoC, paired with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage, which users can easily expand with a memory card. It features a 5,000 mAh battery, and at 185 grams, it charges at 33 watts—though this isn’t particularly fast. Users can also use the smartphone as a power bank, supplying up to 5 watts to charge a headphone case. It supports operation with two SIM cards.
