Pixio PX222 75Hz Monitor with Adaptive Sync and Black Equalizer

The Pixio has announced a relatively inexpensive cheap monitor called PX222 aimed at undemanding gamers. The 22 inch monitor is based on a Full HD VA panel (1920 × 1080 pixels).

The contrast reaches up to 3000:1, brightness is 250 nits, and viewing angles horizontally and vertically – up to 178 degrees. 106.55 percent coverage of the sRGB color space has been declared.

The response time is 4 ms, and the refresh rate is 75 Hz. Narrow side bezels make the 75Hz monitor suitable for multi-display configurations. Adaptive Sync has been implemented to improve image smoothness and eliminate frame tearing.

The Black Equalizer function improves the visibility of dark areas of the image, which gives an advantage over rivals in virtual space. The budget-friendly cheap monitor is equipped with an audio system with stereo speakers with a power of 2 W each.

For connectivity, there are HDMI 1.4 and D-Sub interfaces as well as a standard 3.5 mm audio jack. The stand can only be used to adjust the angle of the screen. Flicker-Free and Blue Light Reduction technologies are responsible for reducing eye strain.
