Canon Speedlite 600EX II-RT Flash with Improved Continuous Shooting Launched at $579

Canon Speedlite 600EX II-RT Flash has been officially announced with 1.1-1.5x improved continuous shooting and built-in radio transmission wireless functionality. The Speedlite 600EX II-RT is quite similar to its predecessor, the E-TTL / E-TTL II compatible flash has a higher guide number of 197′ at ISO 100 and 200mm along with a zoom range of 20-200mm and a wide panel that extends coverage down to 14mm. With the advantages of using a radio system as a higher effective range, more active position in complex ways, wireless flash shooting on both radio and optical transmission with compatible Canon Speedlites, offering users greater functional range when using flash.Canon Speedlite 600EX II-RTThe Canon Speedlite 600EX II-RT flash consistent with previous Canon Speedlite 600EX RT Flash model, and it can control up to 5 groups of compatible flash units, offers a weather- and dust-resistant design and boasts ‘simplified’ button and dial operation. The back of the flash with a large LCD screen and a jog for adjustment. The possibility of adjusting the tilt/swivel, a diffusion panel, Hi-Speed/second-curtain Sync etc. It can be tilt-up up to 90° and it’s also capable of rotating 180° left and 180° right.

The Speedlite 600EX II-RT is also comes with a bounce adapter, a hard CTO filter set, a mini stand, and an updated soft case that holds the flash and accessories. The rated recycle time is 0.1-5.5 seconds, but can be sped up to 0.1-3.3 seconds in Quick Flash mode. There are 15 custom functions and 6 personal functions for maximum customization. It can serve as a slave unit in an optical setup, at distances of up to 0.5 to 30 m.

The Canon Speedlite 600EX II-RT is available for Pre-order on Amazon and BHPhoto store  for $579, slightly higher compared to Canon Speedlite 600EX RT price around $469 USD; and will be released on 30th June 2016.
