Canon RF 24mm f1.8 Macro and RF 15-30mm f4.5-6.3 IS STM announced

Canon has introduced two new full-frame lenses for the RF mount that have already been rumored and leaked – the fast prime lens is Canon RF 24mm f1.8 Macro IS STM and the zoom RF 15-30mm f4.5-6.3 IS STM. The new Canon RF lenses share similar optical designs, STM AF drive, and compact housing and are not only compatible with the EOS R/RP and EOS R6 / EOS R5 but will also fit the new Canon APS-C, EOS R7, and EOS R10 models.

The RF 24mm f/.8 has an additional control ring on the body that allows you to adjust ISO, aperture, and switch between autofocus methods. Again, when mounted on a camera with an EOS R with IBIS, the user will receive up to 7 stops of exposure, which is not bad at all. According to the company, weighing just 390g, the zoom lens is compact and durable.
