Canon has announced two RF lenses for its mirrorless cameras: the Canon RF 24-50mm f4.5-6.3 IS STM and the Canon RF-S 55-210mm f5-7.1 IS STM.
Canon RF 24-50mm f4.5-6.3 IS STM
The RF24-50mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM is a lightweight and comfortable lens that can be used all day long, whether you’re vlogging or taking photos. It is ideal for capturing a variety of subjects without having to constantly change lenses.
The 24-50mm is 58mm long when retracted and expands to 86mm when zoomed. Its diameter is 70 mm, and it requires a filter with a diameter of 58 mm.
There is an AF/MF switch on the side with a second switch for the stabilizer function. In addition, there is a zoom ring and a manual focus ring.
The plastic mount on the back of the lens provides a weight of up to 210g, a testament to Canon’s commitment to a compact and lightweight full-frame lens/camera system.

Canon RF-S 55-210mm f5-7.1 IS STM
The RF-S 55-210mm is the entry-level mid-telephoto zoom lens that will be bundled with the EOS R50. It provides an equivalent field of view of 88-336mm when mounted on the company’s APS-C cameras.
The lens has 11 elements in 8 groups, including two UD (ultra-low dispersion) elements. The focus is driven by a screw-type STM motor.
The lens is about 9.4 cm long at the retracted position and 13.5 cm at the telephoto position, and its diameter is 69 mm. It weighs 270g and supports 55mm filters.
