As expected, the Canon EOS R5 has been officially available for pre-order for its users. New Canon mirrorless camera received a 45 MP CMOS sensor with ISO sensitivity from 100 to 51200 units (with an extension of ISO 102000), but this is not its only feature.
The camera received a DIGIC X image processor installed in the EOS-1D X III, a modified 5.76-megapixel OLED electronic viewfinder, covering 100% of the frame and a magnesium alloy body. The viewfinder works out a frequency of up to 120fps, which allows you to track even the fastest objects. The shutter speed range is from the 30s to 1/8000s, the burst speed is 12fps, with the electronic shutter up to 20fps.
The R5 is equipped with five-axis sensor-shift image stabilization that compensates for up to an impressive eight stops of camera shake for truly effective compensation of camera shake to suit handheld shooting with slower shutter speeds.
Second Generation Dual Pixel CMOS AF does not lose its effectiveness in low light conditions up to EV-6. Thanks to the 3.2-inch touch screen and a resolution of 2.1MP, you can set the focus point with your finger, and intelligent focusing performance using 1053 selectable points that cover the entire field of view.
The camera implements a full-frame internal recording of RAW video with a resolution of 8K at a frame rate of up to 29.97fps, a full-frame internal video recording of 8K with a frame frequency of up to 29.97fps in 4:2:2/10 bit Canon Log mode (H.265) or 4:2:2/10 bit HDR PQ (H.265). As for 4K resolution, full-frame internal video recording is available with a frequency of up to 119.88 fps in 4:2:2/10 bit Canon Log (H.265) or 4:2:2/10 bit HDR PQ (H. 265). A 4:2:2/10 bit Canon Log or 4:2:2/10 bit HDR PQ signal can be output via the HDMI port in 4K resolution with a frame frequency of 59.94fps. Dual Pixel AF will work in all video recording modes.
