Canon has officially raised the curtain from the EOS M6, the new mirrorless camera in the EOS M family comes with a 24.2 megapixel APS-C sensor. The most recent proposal for the Canon mirrorless segment can count on the presence of a Dual Pixel CMOS AF system and DIGIC 7 image processor. Canon EOS M6 shoots continuously at 7 fps, or as quick as 9 fps when shooting with fixed autofocus. The camera is also equipped with built-in stabilisation, which can capture video up to the maximum Full HD resolution at 60fps(unfortunately not supports for 4K yet). The stabilization can be further improved using Dynamic IS lens, such as the EF-M 15-45mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM.
Canon M6 integrates an 3.0-inch LCD touchscreen display which can tilt up to 180 degrees and 45 degrees down and offering up to 100 percent viewfinder. In terms of connectivity include the presence of Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluteooth options. This allows you to keep connected with your smartphone, offering the ability to view photos or manage remote shooting.
Canon also introduced the all new Electronic Viewfinder EVF-DC2, which has a compact design and compatible with EOS M as well as a PowerShot cameras. The new 0.39-type viewfinder includes a 2.36 million dot display that reveals every intricate detail, while 100% coverage ensures everything the eye can see is captured in the shot. New renovated Viewfinder also appreciated from the point of view of the real time movement with the refresh rate of 120 frames per second. It is exceptionally light weight – 29 grams only.
The new Canon EOS M6 price in USA is set to $779.99 for body only; $899.99 for 15-45mm lens kit and $1,279 for 48-150mm lens kit. It can be pre-ordered via Amazon US store in both Silver and Black color variant; while the Canon Electronic Viewfinder EVF-DC2 price is about $249.99, it is also listed on the Amazon store in Black and Silver color and both products will be shipped after 30th March 2017.
