Canon EOS M5 has been officially announced by the company, carries powerful hardware with 24.4-megapixel APS-C sensor, Dual Pixel Technology, built-in Electronic Viewfinder and 5-axis image stabilization. Canon EOS M5 price for the body has only been $979, while the kit with EF-M 15-45mm IS STM goes for $1,099 and the new EF-M 18-150mm IS STM costs $1,479. 
Along with the M5, Canon also introduced lens kits with EF-M 15-45mm/F3.5-6.3 IS STM zoom lens and new EF-M 18-150mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM lens. Canon also applied DIGIC 7 processor on this brand new EOS M5, we can see that Canon creates a camera that is capable to give more serious competition in the Mirrorless market which is growing very fast today.
The design of the EOS M5 has been changed to a DSLRs format instead of compact as before. The first the device includes a pop-up flash, a very large part of the built-in electronic viewfinder, which boasts a total resolution up to 2,360,000 dots. The back part of the camera with a 3.2-inch tilting LCD touchscreen (85-degrees up, 180-degrees down) perfect for selfie with 1,620,000 dots of resolution.
About configuration, the EOS M5 comes with a 24.4-megapixel APS-C sensor which is a common resolution on the recent EOS 80D. It has Dual Pixel CMOS AF for capturing stills and shooting video with smooth and precise autofocus, basically good support for STM lenses. Canon’s new DIGIC 7 processor integrated into the M5 allows faster autofocus, high-speed continuous shooting at up to 7.0 fps and shortened reboot time. 
Yet so strong, the EOS M5 still records Full HD video at 60 fps, no 4K. A new addition to the camera is Digital IS with 5-axis image stabilization when shooting videos plus increased image stabilization with both lens optical IS and in-camera digital IS when shooting with an IS lens. It also equipped with Bluetooth iii Smart for smooth pairing with a compatible devices, so users can enjoy easy photo sharing and remote control on the go, much like Nikon’s Snap-bridge.
