A leak source said Canon will release two versions of Canon 5D Mark IV, including a special version the Canon 5D Mark IVc for video recording.
After the launch of the two cameras called Canon 5DS and 5DS R, Canon will probably increase the number of cameras of the 5D lines. According to Petapixel, the manufacturer will launch the in the sessions a two version of the 5D Mark IV instead of just one, it’s Canon 5D Mark IV and Canon 5D Mark IVc.
While 5D Mark IV can be considered as an update of the Canon 5D Mark III now, the 5D Mark IVc camera will be a aimed at professional videographer. The “c” may be the abbreviation of “cinema” and the camera will be equipped with advanced video features, such as 4K video.
According to the information received, the Canon 5D Mark IVc will be a DSLR 18-megapixel resolution, using hybrid AF system Dual Pixel AF III with 61 focus points. It has an ISO range up to 100-204800.
Meanwhile, the Canon 5D Mark IV with a 28-megapixel resolution, and also use same Dual Pixel AF III technology and an ISO range from 100-204800. It is capable continuous shooting at 12fps and a new image stabilization technology.
Most likely, both cameras will be released later this year. But a blogger specializing in camera named Andrew Reid said, Canon 5D Mark IVc will be just a rumor.
