Canon 300mm f/4 IS, 24mm f/2.8 and 50mm f/1.3 (2015) Rumors

According Egami, they are posted a patent design of three new Canon lenses include Canon 300mm f/4 IS, 24mm f/2.8 and 50mm f/1.3 (2015).

The design was registered in 2013 and recently approved in 12/2. The new 300mm lens design shows that Canon will add three new lenses to improve the refractive index, minimizing flare and improve image quality. Thanks to this new lens will have a higher optical image quality compared to the older version.

Currently Canon are still selling Canon EF 300 mm f/4L IS USM launched in 2004, so many possibilities this new lens will be introduced in the near future. In addition super-telephoto Canon 300mm Lens, Canon also register the design of 24mm F / 2.8 and 50 F / 1.3. In 2012, Canon has introduced EF 24mm F / 2.8 USM ISM. It seems like this would be an upgrade for mark II. The Canon 50mm F / 1.3 aperture is pretty strange, it has an orthodox optical system.

These designs are not required to go into production, so we will wait for some more time to get more information about the three lenses.
