Great news for PC gamers who will be eagerly waiting for the Call of Duty WW2 thanks to the beta release. Activision has announced that the open beta version will be available starting from September 29 and will run until October 2.
You will not need to book the game to play the open beta on PC so anyone can test the new episode of the famous shooter that this year leaves the futuristic background to return to the “origins”. To access the beta, just go to the Activation website and download the trial version.
Following the announcement, the development team also published the minimum hardware requirements to deal with open beta, while the recommended specifications will be revealed later.
At the moment we do not have accurate information about the content contained in the trial version addressed to the PC, but it is likely that the modes and maps will be those included in the open beta of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is possible that the unprecedented War mode is also present.
Sledgehammer Games managers also stressed that the trial version is intended to test gameplay and network infrastructure. These are the minimum requirements:
- OS: Windows 7 64-Bit or later
- CPU: Intel® Core™ i3 3225 or equivalent
- RAM: 8 GB RAM
- HDD: 25 GB HD space
- Video: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 660 @ 2 GB / AMD Radeon™ HD 7850 @ 2GB or better
- DirectX: Version 11.0 compatible video card or equivalent
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
The Call of Duty: WW2 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One will be officially available from November 3.
