The Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Zombies returns to show itself at the Comic-Con in San Diego with a new video and the announcement of the Mystery Box Edition, a special edition that celebrates the mode itself.
The video focuses on Blood of the Dead, the third “map” of the zombie mode, a reimagined version of Mob of the Dead, already present in the second episode of Black Ops. In Blood of the Dead, Richtofen, Dempsey, Takeo, and Nikolai will be called upon to embark on a perilous journey to a secret laboratory located under the iconic Alcatraz penitentiary.
The Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Zombies will allow players to enjoy a lot of content right from the launch day. In fact, three campaigns will be present (IX, Voyage of Despair and Zombies Blood of the Dead) and three main innovations include the possibility of selecting different degrees of challenge (difficulty levels) and modifying various parameters.
Also unveiled the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Mystery Box Edition, a special edition features an eerie skeleton exterior along with frightening sounds and lighting. It looks like it came straight out of the game, lights up and makes creepy Zombies sounds, but it also contains a ton of collectibles along with the game!
The package, in addition to the exclusive Mystery Box, contains a series of objects, including the inevitable copy of Black Ops 4, a limited edition steelbook and a zombie-themed puzzle that celebrates 10 years of the mode. There are also a number of bonuses included in the package to be used in the game and the Black Ops Pass.
Recall that the new episode of Call of Duty will arrive on October 12 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The agreements with Sony remain unchanged and therefore the players on PlayStation 4 will be able to count on the exclusive DLCs (after about 30 days they will debut on the other platforms).
