With the Smart Soundbar 600, Bose has introduced the new best Dolby Atmos soundbar. In addition to supporting Dolby Atmos, the compact Bose sound systems offer voice control with Alexa and Google Assistant as well as many other features.
The new Bose Smart Soundbar 600 features Dolby Atmos and proprietary Bose TrueSpace technology. If Dolby Atmos content is available, the precisely tuned digital signal processing from Bose and the Atmos decoding are combined with the five sound transducers of the Smart Soundbar 600 to create the most spatial sound experience possible even without additional speakers. Two side-radiating, racetrack-shaped sound transducers, a mid-tweeter, and two upward-radiating sound transducers are used for it. In addition, the manufacturer promises deep bass with the Bose QuietPort technology.
But even without Dolby Atmos content, according to the manufacturer, the soundbar should get the best out of the stereo, Dolby Digital 5.1, and more with the same five sound converters and TrueSpace and produce a similar spatial sound. In addition, the soundbar can be combined with Bose bass modules (e.g. Bose Bass Module 500 for around $500 on Amazon) and rear speakers (e.g. Bose Surround Speakers 700 for around $600 on Amazon) and is also available with compatible with the Bose multiroom audio system.
The Smart Soundbar 600 has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Chromecast, and Apple AirPlay 2 for streaming as well as HDMI (eARC) and an optical digital input for players. Thanks to Works with Google Assistant functions and Amazon Alexa built-in, it can also be used for voice control. With the Bose Voice4Video technology, which is used with Alexa, it is possible according to the manufacturer to switch on the TV, change the input, and tune to your favorite channel with just one voice command. All this is packed in a 5.61 cm high, 10.39 cm deep, and a good 69 cm wide case in black.
