Bose has announced the availability of Sleepbuds, the particular wireless earbuds were first announced back in November last year with the aim of reducing background noise to help users sleep.

Bose Sleepbuds are now available in the USA starts today (June 21st) at a price of $249 and can be purchased via Amazon. While it will make their debut on the European market starting from next autumn, as confirmed by the company.

Bose Sleepbuds are characterized by an aesthetic that recalls the design of the classic wireless earbuds. The product is also equipped with a charging case (estimated playtime of up to 16 hours on a single charge) and comes with 3 different sizes of earbuds (S, M, L) that will allow users to adapt them to their best in their ears.

Contrary to what you can imagine from such a product, rather than allow you to listen to your favorite tracks with the utmost sound quality, the Sleepbuds aim to reduce the background noise around you to help you sleep better. Traffic, people who speak or even snoring your partner may not be a problem anymore.

With the Bose Sleep app, users will also be able to control Sleepbuds to choose what sound to hear before going to sleep, adjusting their volume or playing time. Through the same app, it is possible to handle Bose earbuds as a real alarm that will wake you up gently and without disturbing anyone around you.

Finally, the Bose Sleepbuds are supplied with 10 preloaded “sleeptrack” that can be managed and adjusted directly from the Bose Sleep app.
