Bose Sleepbuds II Designed to help you fall asleep: Now available on BestBuy, and Bhphoto

Bose has introduced the second generation of its sleep buds, which are designed to help the wearer fall asleep. With the use of the new Bose Sleepbuds II, annoying noises such as snoring or traffic should be muffled, and up to 35 tracks for free so the user can sleep comfortably, all methodically produced and tested by Bose.

The Bose sleep buds are not your typical fully wireless earbuds; instead, they are many more earplugs that attenuate ambient noise. Active noise suppression is deliberately avoided, as it should be more beneficial for falling asleep if the background noise is only softer and not completely faded out.

According to the manufacturer, the Sleepbuds II are tiny and ultra-comfortable, the earbuds weigh less than a 2-cent coin. If you still need a little help falling asleep, Bose offers 35 freely available soundtracks, including the sound of nature, tranquilities, and other relaxing tones. This is how the manufacturer describes the effect of the earphones:

“Bose Sleepbuds II use advancements in our proprietary noise-masking technology because covering sound not cancelling it is a better solution for sleeping,” said Steve Romine, head of the Bose Health Division. “You can’t duplicate the experience combining earbuds with apps, playing your music louder, or using earplugs and bedside machines so millions of people are still suffering. We never gave up on helping them, and that’s why we’re so excited about Sleepbuds II. They ‘quiet’ more of the low frequencies found in the biggest threats to a peaceful bedroom like snoring partners, idling engines, and nearby footsteps. Compared to its predecessor, the new model should not only be more comfortable, the noise insulation is now much more effective, according to Bose. The battery is said to have a runtime of ten hours, which should be enough for most nights. The charging vase can fully charge the earbuds up to three times, thanks to an IPX4 certification, the Sleepbuds II is protected against sweat.

The Bose Sleepbuds II is now available to buy on BestBuy.com and Bhphotovideo.com websites for a recommended retail price of $249.99.

Apart from the new Sleepbuds, Bose Audio has also introduced three new “Frames” series sunglasses with built-in speakers so that you can listen to music, use a voice assistant, or make calls without having to resort to earphones. The sound should even be loud enough to use while cycling.
