We’ve been following the long wave of rumors about the new Bose QC-series (QuietComfort) headphones equipped with the Google Assistant. And now the Bose QC 35 II headphones has been officially announced and this is the evolution of the Bose QuietComfort 35, the most popular Bose noise canceling headphones. The main features, as it’s easy to guess, involves integrating Google Assistant with a dedicated button.
Bose stresses that they worked closely with the giant search company to make the new Bose QuietComfort 35 II as the first headphones with an integrated Google Assistant. After an initial setup phase, which involves Bluetooth connection to the Android or iOS smartphone, you can activate the digital assistant by pressing the Action button on the left earcup and interact vocally to start reading messages, playing music or making phone calls.
A proprietary Bose microphone system picks-up voices with remarkable accuracy, so commands are understood. And in a fraction of a millisecond, Bose active noise cancellation dramatically reduces unwanted sounds around you – so whether you’re in a crowded airport terminal, on a busy city street, or a train platform at rush hour – you only hear your Assistant or your music, brilliantly reproduced. The Action button can then be used to change the noise reduction settings, just as you did through the Bose Connect app. Now you can choose to keep it on (high), turn it down (low), or disable it completely (off).
The new Bose QC35 II headphones will be shipped in a limited number of markets. They are officially available from today in UK via Amazon.co.uk with the price tag of £329.95 and will be available in Black and Silver colors.
