Miami-based handset maker BLU has unveiled its latest Studio View XL smartphone in its homeland. The Blu Studio View XL is also company’s first 18:9 FullView display smartphone. The handset sports 5.7″ HD+ 18:9 curved glass display which is its biggest highlight. Apart from its display, the device also features a 13MP rear and a 5MP front camera with LED flash as well.

The new Blu Studio View XL features a 5.7-inch 18:9 FullView display with HD+ (720 x 1440 pixels) screen resolution and sport 2.5D curved glass on top. The new Blu phone is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with Mali-400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It packs 16GB onboard storage and also supports expandable storage via microSD card up to 64GB.
On the camera front, it sports a 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with f.2.2 aperture, LED flash and also able to record 1080p video at 30fps. There is 5-megapixel front-facing camera with selfie flash to capture stunning bright self-portraits. The device also offers a fingerprint sensor that placed on the rear panel.
The dual-SIM handset packs a large 3000mAh battery. The Blu Studio View XL packs 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 160.1 x 74.3 x 9.3 mm and weighs 174 grams. It also supports USB OTG, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and 3G only connectivity. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
Last month, Blu phones had announced the C5 smartphone has been set at $69.99 and the device is available to buy on Amazon in Gold and Silver color options.
Blu C5 is an entry-level smartphone comes with 512MB RAM and 3G functionality, but in return, it has a large 5.0-inch curved display, 5MP rear and 3.2MP front camera with selfie flash.
