Blu Studio G3 Launched in USA: Price, Specifications

Blu has launched a new budget smartphone, called Studio G3, which interestingly comes after a month to purchase on the shelf. Like other Blu phones, the new Blu Studio G3 also highlights Android 7.0 Nougat OS and front LED flash. The latest Blu smartphone comes at an entry-level price tag of $69.99, available via Amazon.com in Black color only.

The front features a 5.2-inch (480×854 pixels) TFT FWVGA display with a pixel density of 188ppi. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor that’s backed by MediaTek 6580 SoC paired with Mali-400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. Internal storage stands at 8GB, which is expandable via microSD card up to 64GB.

As for the cameras, the Studio G3 features a 5-megapixel sensor on the back with autofocus and flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash. The handset packs a 2050mAh battery measures 149.2 x 74.3 x 9.9mm and weighs 161 grams. The blu phones come with dual-SIM card slots and support 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB connectivity options.

Blu back in September announced the Blu S1 smartphone, priced at $179.99. The dual-SIM S1 bears a 5.2-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) display and runs Android 7.0 Nougat. Powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core processor, the smartphone bears 2GB of RAM. It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie. It packs 16GB of built-in storage that’s expandable via microSD card up to 64GB. It is powered by a 2800mAh battery.
