Blu has introduced its next budget handset, the Studio G Max for the USA market. The domestic handset maker has listed the Blu Studio G Max on Blu Cell Phone Website, though it has not revealed the pricing and availability details.
The Blu Studio G Max runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and is a dual-SIM device with support for 3G HSPA+ dual SIM with dual standby. It features a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with HD (720×1080 pixels) resolution that can convey a pixel density of 246.6ppi, and Curved glass panel with company’s own Blu True View Technology. It has a premium metal back panel with slightly curved edges gives it lustrous look.
The Blu Studio G Max is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor that’s backed by MediaTek MT6580 chipset, clubbed with Mali-400 GPU. The device packs in 1GB of RAM and comes with 8GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 64GB with the help of a microSD card. It sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera accompanied by dual LED flash and also includes a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with front LED flash to capture bright selfies in dark environment. The rear camera can shoot HD (1080p) video at 30fps.
As per the company’s listing the Blu Cell Phones packs in a 2300mAh battery. Connectivity options include 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options. The Blu Phone measures 148.4 x 73.9 x 8.55 mm and will be available Grey, Gold and Pink color options.
Recently, Blu launched its budget Android phablet, the Studio G Plus HD, pricing it at $79.99. The Blu Studio G Plus HD runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is a dual-SIM phablet with dual standby support. It features a 5.5-inch IPS display with 720×1080 pixels (HD) resolution. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6580 processor along with 1GB of RAM.
