Blu Grand X LTE with Android 7.0 Nougat, 5.5-inch Display Announced

Soon after launching the Studio Mega and Studio J2, Blu has expanded its Grand series smartphone lineup with the Blu Grand XL or Blu Grand X LTE UK variant. The company has listed the handset on the Blu Cell Phone Website as well as already started taking pre-orders via Amazon UK online store. Blu Grand XL price in UK is £77.85 and it will be available in Black and Silver color options. There is no information on US pricing and availability, but we all know that it will be soon available for purchase in USA via Amazon.

Blu Grand X LTE Specifications

The biggest highlight of the Grand X LTE is also running Android 7.0 Nougat our-of-the-box, this is the second Nougat based smartphone after the Blu Studio Mega was also unveiled in UK today from the company.

Other features including an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash and also able to record Full HD (1080p) video at 30fps. There is also a 5-megapixel front fixed-focus camera with front LED flash to capture bright selfies and video calling. Apart from the camera, the Grand X LTE as its name suggests also supports 4G LTE connectivity.

It features a 5.5-inch 2.5D curved glass display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution that can deliver a pixel density of 267ppi. The handset made of CNC metal frame and sleek design. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor that’s fueled by MediaTek MT6580 chipset clubbed with Mali-400 GPU. The device packs 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 64GB with the help of microSD card slot.

As mentioned above, the device runs Android 7.0 Nougat OS and packs a 2650mAh battery. The device measures 157.5 x 78.6 x 9.1mm and weighs 142 grams. It has a dual SIM card slot on board along with 4G LTE connectivity, apart from 4G includes 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio connectivity options.
