Just a two weeks after launching the Grand X LTE smartphone in USA, Blu has now announced the Grand Mini smartphone for the entry-level market. The budget smartphone Blu Grand Mini is now listed on its official website with full specifications, while its release date and price has not yet been announced. The handset will be available in four colors: Black, Gold, Rose Gold, and Silver.

In terms of design, the Grand Mini looks quite identical to the iPhone 7, the smartphone features a metal frame design with a dual rear camera like setup on the back but it has only one camera sensor along with a LED flash. It comes with a smaller 4.5-inch TFT LCD display with FWVGA (480×854 pixels) resolution that can translate a 218 pixel per density.
The Blu Grand Mini is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor that’s fueled by MediaTek MT6570 SoC coupled with Mali-400 GPU and 512MB of RAM. It packs 8GB of native storage which can be further expandable via MicroSD card up to 64GB.
On the camera front, the device features a 5-megapixel rear camera sensor with LED flash and the front sees a 2-megapixel camera for selfie and video calling. Connectivity options include 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPS, A-GPS, and USB 2.0. The Grand Mini is fitted with a 1500mAh battery, measures 132 x 66 x 8.6mm and weighs 132 grams.
Last week, Blu launched Tank Xtreme Pro rugged smartphone in USA, priced at $129.99. The device has a rugged and durable design, and IP68 certification, allowing users to use the device in extreme conditions.
The Blu Tank Xtreme Pro runs Android 7.0 Nougat OS and dual-SIM with 4G LTE connectivity. It features a 5-inch HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3; powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6737T processor; Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
