BLU G91 Max is an affordable smartphone with many intriguing features, considering its price. The new BLU phone is available for $199.99 in two colors and comes with Android 11.

BLU has revealed the G91 Max, the company’s most powerful smartphone to date. However, the new BLU smartphone packs the MediaTek Helio G95 processor, a 12 nm SoC with two ARM Cortex-A76 cores, six Cortex-A55 cores, and a Mali-G76 MP4 GPU. Also, the chipset relies on a 4G modem, rather than a 5G modem. Ultimately, the Helio G95 is an improved version of the Helio G90, and Helio G90T is found in the G91 Pro and G90 Pro.

Besides, BLU cell phones equip G91 Max with 8GB RAM, 128GB expandable storage, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C port. Also, the smartphone features a 6.8-inch IPS display that has an aspect ratio of 20.5:9 and a native resolution of 1080p (2460 x 1080). The screen also tops out at 60Hz, rather than 90Hz or 120Hz like some budget smartphones do these days.

Additionally, the G91 Max relies on a 108MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and two 2MP sensors to capture the depth of field and macro information. Along with this, the device has a 16MP front camera that sits under a hole in the G91 Max’s large screen. Unfortunately, BLU ships the G91 Max with Android 11 and didn’t include an NFC module. However, the smartphone has a 5000mAh battery which it can charge up to 18W with a wired connection or 10W if you have a compatible wireless charger.

Currently, the BLU G91 Max retails for $199.99 on Amazon.com in Sky Blue and Spectrum Gray, which is $50 less than its list price. BLU specifies that the smartphone is compatible with T-Mobile, Metro PCS, and others in the United States, but not with AT&T, Cricket, or other CDMA networks.

Recently, BLU introduced the G91 PRO mid-tier gaming device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek SoC and comes with a quad-rear camera setup that does not protrude from the body like most other smartphones. It features an infinity dot display, and there are thin bezels all around, including the bottom. It also cost $199.99.
