Blu has expanded its portfolio of phones by quietly launching the Blu G9. The new G-series phone from BLU comes equipped with Dual rear cameras and sports 52MP Super Zoom. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek processor and comes in a single storage configuration. The phone is now listed on the Amazon.com in USA, but there is no word on the Blu G9’s arrival in markets outside USA.

As per the phone’s listing on Amazon.com, and can be pre-ordered through the Bhphotovideo.com stores, the Blu G9’s sole variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage has been priced at $179.99. The phone comes in Gradient Blue and Black color options. There is no word from Blu regarding the phone’s availability in markets outside the US.

The dual-SIM Blu G9 runs Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. It packs a 6.3-inch HD+ (720×1544 resolution) display with a V-Notch, 19:9 aspect ratio, 470 nits brightness, 89% screen-to-body ratio and curved glass. The phone is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 AI SoC paired with 4GB of RAM.
In the imaging department, the Blu G9 packs dual rear cameras – a 13-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture, accompanied by a 2-megapixel depth sensor and LED flash. The device is equipped with state of the art A.I camera that reaches up to 52MP in high-density resolution. Using our Super Zoom feature, each pixel is increased to four, maximizing the clarity of each photo. Even after capturing an image, you can zoom in to see the far-reaching image with great resolution, rich detail, and picture-perfect imagery. On the front is 13-megapixel snapper with an f/2.0 aperture.
The Blu G9 packs 64GB of internal storage that can further be expanded via a microSD card (up to 128GB). It packs a 4000mAh battery with support for 5V/2A Quick Charge capability, your device to be ready to go in less than 2.5 hours. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth (version unspecified), USB OTG, Micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device also has a rear fingerprint sensor, the dimensions of the device are 155.4 x 71.8 x 8.1mm and it weighs 165 grams.
