Even though most smartphone manufacturers are currently focused on creating 4G devices, Blu still seems to believe that there are takers for 3G smartphones with 512MB RAM. The company has launched the Blu C5 smartphone with 5.0-inch curved display and 5MP rear camera.
Blu C5 Specifications
The dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and sports a 5.0-inch FWVGA (480×850 pixels) curved display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor that’s fueled by MediaTek 6570 SoC coupled with Mali-400 GPU and 512MB of RAM. The Blu C5 comes with an inbuilt storage of 8GB, which is expandable via microSD card up to 64GB.
In terms of optics, the smartphone comes with a 5.0-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash and capture 720p HD video at 30fps. The 3.2-megapixel front camera on C5 has been tagged with a front LED flash to capture bright selfies.
It measures 144.4 x 73.2 x 10mm and weighs 172 grams. The Blu C5 packs a 2000mAh battery that would be last for a one day with moderate usage. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone provides options like 3G connectivity, WLAN 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, FM Radio, USB, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Blu C5 will be available in Black, Silver, Gold and Rose Gold colors.
The company launched its first dual camera smartphone Blu Studio Pro last month at just $89.99. One of the camera sensors is tasked with focus and the other is tasked with capturing the depth of field information. The dual camera mode is enabled by default on the smartphone and enables other modes like Bokeh Mode. It has a 5-megapixel front camera with a soft selfie flash.
