Blu launched its Advance A5 and Advance A5 LTE smartphones last week. The company has been releasing the handsets in global markets steadily and now it has made these smartphones available in Canada as well.
In Canada, the Blu Advance A5 and Advance A5 LTE are available for purchase through online retailer Amazon.ca and have been priced at CDN$ 64.99, and CDN$ 115.99 respectively. While both the devices are available in Black color only.
Notably, the Advance A5 smartphone lacks 4G functionality, unlike Blu Advance A5 LTE which sports 4G LTE connectivity as well as Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box, while the Advance A5 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The device features a 5.0-inch IPS LCD display, dual-SIM supports, pack 512MB of RAM, and come with 8GB of built-in storage, which is expandable via microSD card up to 64GB. It is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core 6570 processor clubbed with Mali-400 GPU.
In terms of optics, both devices come with a 5-megapixel rear camera, tagged with LED flash, and a 2-megapixel camera at front with LED flash to capture bright selfie. For connectivity, includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The dual-SIM Blu Advance A5 LTE runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with HD (720 x 1920 pixels) resolution and 2.5D curved glass layer on top of it. It is powered by a quad-core MT6737 SoC clocked at 1.3GHz and Mali T720 GPU coupled with 2GB of RAM.
On the camera front, the Advance A5 LTE comes with an 8-megapixel primary autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel camera at front with a selfie flash to capture stunning selfies. The device comes with 8GB of built-in storage, which is expandable via microSD card up to 64GB.
In terms of connectivity, the phone offers options including 4G connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and micro USB 2.0. There are no more details on the battery capacities of both the handsets.
