The Razer Blade 16 finally gets the update to 16:10 and a larger display. As if that weren’t enough, it gets the world’s first mini-LED display with dual switching between FHD+ 240Hz and 4K 120Hz modes. Intel’s HX series is also used for the first time, and the TGP is increased from 110 to a full 175 watts thanks to the vapor chamber and a thicker case.

The Razer Blade 16 is finally available in 16:10 format, with a display that has grown to 16 inches. It has a new mini LED panel with dual switching, which allows you to switch between the mode of native FHD+ resolution at 120 Hz and the mode of an equally native 4K resolution at 240 Hz. This allows both fast gaming and optimal content creation.

Intel’s HX series is used for the new Razer gaming laptop, with the new Core i9-13950HX, while the GeForce RTX 4090 ‘s TGP has been boosted from 110W to a full 175 watts thanks to the use of a vapor chamber. The case, which is 5 mm thicker at 22 mm, should also contribute to better cooling. The weight has increased by about 350 g to 2.46 kg.

There is also the option of choosing cheaper GPUs, such as an RTX 4060 or RTX 4070 with 140 W TGP or an RTX 4080 with 175 W. The mini-LED display is also factory-calibrated and offers 100% DCI-P3, 3 ms GtG, G-Sync, comes in an anti-glare version, and has a peak brightness of up to 1,000 cd/m² (HDR) or an average of 600 cd/m² (SDR).

The RAM can be upgraded to a maximum of 64 GB DDR5-5600, with two M.2 slots holding a total of up to 8 terabytes (PCIe 4.0) of SSD memory. The larger Blade’s per-key RGB backlit keyboard offers a narrow 1.1mm of travel with 65g of actuation force, while the Blade 16’s keys offer 1mm of travel.

The Blade 16 offers a 95.2 Wh battery which can be charged with up to 100 watts via USB-C. A slim GaN power supply delivers a total of 280 watts. An FHD webcam with an IR sensor, physical shutter, and 6-speaker system with 2 woofers is also included.

A total of five USB ports are offered, one Thunderbolt 4, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 with DisplayPort via iGPU, and three USB-A 3.2 Gen 2. There is also HDMI 2.1, 2.5 GBit RJ45 (on the Blade 18), one Full-size SD card reader, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a Kensington lock slot. Meanwhile, Intel’s AX211 with WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 ensures fast communication.
