Thanks to Bluetooth, ANC and a runtime of up to 40 hours, the gaming wireless headphones for mobile are also suitable for on-road.
With the Barracuda Pro, Razer has introduced a new gaming Bluetooth headphones with mic that can be used with numerous devices and in a variety of situations. Because the headphones can connect to a device both via Bluetooth 5.2 and via an included 2.4 GHz USB-C receiver, whereby the headphones can switch seamlessly between two connected devices.
For the best possible voice quality in chats and phone calls, Razer uses beamforming microphones, which can automatically dampen disruptive ambient noise. The equalizer can be configured via the associated Razer Audio smartphone app. For the on-the-go, the Razer Barracuda Pro offers active noise cancellation (ANC) and a transparency mode.
A special THX Achromatic Audio Amplifier (THX AAA) is intended to ensure the best possible sound, in conjunction with the bio-cellulose drivers, which have a diameter of 50 millimeters. Razer promises a battery life of up to 40 hours, but the manufacturer does not specify how it behaves with active noise cancellation.
With a weight of 340 grams, the Razer Barracuda Pro is not exactly light, but the memory foam ear cups should distribute the weight optimally. A 3.5 mm AUX cable also makes it possible to connect the Barracuda Pro to older devices that cannot output sound via Bluetooth or USB.
