Logitech MX Mechanical and MX Mechanical Mini keyboards with three switches for different typing experiences

With the MX Mechanical and MX Mechanical Mini, Logitech presents two new best wireless keyboards, which are available in three versions with different switches for different typing feelings.

In addition to the new MX Master 3S wireless mouse, Logitech also introduced its two new best wireless keyboards, the MX Mechanical and the MX Mechanical Mini. For both versions, the manufacturer promises to combine the best of the MX Master Series with the gaming experience of Logitech. However, they are not especially aimed at gamers but are designed for the workflow of digital creatives.

Both the full-size Logitech MX Mechanical with a classic layout and number field and the particularly compact MX Mechanical Mini are equipped with the latest generation of mechanical low-profile switches. The manufacturer offers three different versions that differ in their typing feel.

According to the manufacturer, the brown Tactile Quiet switch, they have a pleasant tactile touch, which is characterized by precise feedback and reactive button resetting. In addition, the clicking noises are particularly quiet, making the models among the quietest keyboards in Logitech’s portfolio. Alternatively, choose the blue clicky switches for an audible click and a familiar mechanical typing feel, or the red linear switches with minimal spring force for quick responsiveness and a smooth typing feel.

The features of the two new MX Mechanical keyboards are rounded off, among other things, by a backlight with six different options (static, breathing, contrast, wave, random, and reaction) to customize the lighting effects. These can be set using the Logi Options+ software. The manufacturer states that the battery life is up to 15 days or ten months with the backlight switched off. It is charged via USB-C.

Logitech MX Mechanical price and availability

The MX Mechanical consists of 45 percent recycled plastic and is available in Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk online stores in three different versions for just under $170. The significantly more compact MX Mechanical Mini consists of 47 percent recycled material and costs around $207 according to the Amazon listing.
